Editorial Board: introducing Rob Foster
Editors-in-Chief, Kurt Ellenberger and Wouter Turkenburg, gladly announce that Rob Foster has been added to the Editorial Board of the IASJ Journal of Applied Jazz Research. Rob Foster is both a versatile woodwind player and an excellent researcher. Particularly strong are his writings on teaching courses in jazz history. His articles have a strong ‘applied jazz research’ dimension. After reading, one can immediately understand the consequences for one’s own way of thinking about and teaching the history of jazz.
